Bazaarvoice, a global leader in turning online customer-to-customer conversations into actionable insights that deliver long-term business value, today announced the appointment of Mark Riggs as General Manager for Europe.
Riggs, who has spent nearly two years with Bazaarvoice as its Chief Client Officer, has relocated to London to help raise the profile of the company’s business solutions across Europe.
As Chief Client Officer at Bazaarvoice’s U.S. headquarters, Riggs was responsible for shaping the company’s customer-first ethos and redefined service standards for its global client base.
Riggs has also helped to effectively build out Bazaarvoice’s global team, a success he aims to build on across Europe.

With 21 years’ experience in consulting and technology, Riggs will take the lead on all business activities in his new position. As General Manager, he will manage the European region to oversee strategic planning, business operations, and the management of key functions including sales, channels, services, and marketing. His new responsibilities include:
• Creating awareness of the value that Bazaarvoice solutions bring to businesses in the European market
• Enhancing Bazaarvoice’s strategic European vision
• Developing product strategy for the European market
• Expanding the Bazaarvoice team throughout Europe, including across Bazaarvoice’s current European offices in London, Munich, Paris, and Stockholm

Prior to joining Bazaarvoice in 2010, Riggs was Senior Vice President and Worldwide Head of Customer Solutions at Endeca Technologies, Inc where he helped create a global presence for the company. Before joining Endeca in 2006, Riggs spent more than five years at Business Objects, where he was Vice President of Global Services first for North America, and then Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Mark has also held leadership positions with Cambridge Technology Partners.
