We don’t follow a product plan. They’re too rigid. We follow agile methodologies and release minimally viable prototypes within small groups of clients that are as excited about pushing the envelope as we are. This lets us test assumptions about user behaviour and community engagement. Gather data to make real-time course corrections. And assess the business value of the product.
Ultimately, the data and metrics determine each product’s future. If users engage with the product, if the business value is there, it’s a win. If not, we don’t launch the product, and that’s still a win for both Bazaarvoice and our clients.
